Earlier this year we received a personal invitation dropped off at our house from Cory to attend a workshop. Hesitant at first my family still decided to attend the Home Buyers Workshop in Santa Maria. Buying a home is something my parents always wanted, and this was the push they needed to make it happen. After getting a price range Cory emailed us a questionnaire to see where our family wanted the home. As soon as Cory had these details, we went on our first round of house searching. The lender, who spoke Spanish, rode along in the car the first day we looked at property to open communications which was very helpful for my mother. After that, it was not necessary as we trusted Cory to protect our interests. Every time we went out to search for houses Cory was very prepared and organized. He brought a clipboard for us and a pen with information about each house we would be looking at that day. After a few months of searching, Cory helped us find the perfect home for us. It ended up being a home that was featured at the workshop. While the whole process of buying the house was stressful, Cory came to our house to personally explain all the documents and kept us in the loop the whole way through. Throughout the process we communicated through email, phone calls and in person and Cory was quick to respond to all methods. Cory truly cares about making us happy and getting to know our family. This is something that is very important when buying a home since we trust him, which makes us feel comfortable. I can’t stress enough how happy and thankful we are in our new home all thanks to the hard work of Cory.
