I was given the opportunity to go to Home Buyers workshop put on by some awesome folks Cory Mason and Mark Frassica. I did not know really what to expect. I have always wanted to own but did not think I could. I read the flyer and it said I could own for as much as I was paying for rent. It sounded to good to be true. I decided to check it out. After going to it I saw there is a possibility, so I went home and told my husband about it. Mark called soon after, to go over our finances, he saw things in our finances we did not. He set us up with Cory Mason and we began our Hunt! We wanted a fixer upper, so we could fix it and make it our own. We looked at many places and then decided on the one but found out it was taken. That was okay Cory reassured me there are plenty more. In addition to all their help in finding the right home I would also go online to www.realtor.com and I would let Cory know what piqued my interest and one day I saw it. It was on the same street as the first house we decided fit but was taken but this one was better, double paned windows, RV parking and an extra garage in the back. It is Perfect. It was a mess but fixable, Mark explained we could take out a 203K Loan to have the money to fix it up to our liking. Here I am on my first anniversary of owning a home and we are living in the house of our dreams and all thanks to Cory and Mark. Without their help in putting on this workshop I would still be paying someone else’s mortgage. This is the opportunity of a lifetime.
